CheckSync verifies agency workers using face biometric verification at the terminal. Before each sign-in, a live facial capture is compared against the worker's enrolled mathematical embedding. No face photograph is stored, only the mathematical representation. The verification result, timestamp, agency and site are recorded, creating identity-verified attendance evidence for every shift.
The problem

Sites relying on agency and temporary workers face a fundamental challenge, the person presenting for a shift may not be the person the agency booked. Paper sign-in and badge checks create a record, but not a verified one.
Proxy attendance is a real operational risk
In high-turnover agency environments, workers sometimes swap shifts informally or present on behalf of a colleague. Without identity verification, this goes undetected and unrecorded.
Labour-provider records are hard to evidence
When a client or auditor asks whether a specific agency worker was genuinely present on a given shift, paper records and badge swipes rarely provide a defensible answer.

How it works
Face verification at
the terminal.
Enrolment with consent
Before any biometric data is created, the agency worker gives explicit consent. A mathematical embedding is derived from their facial geometry and stored, no face photograph is retained at any point.
Verification at sign-in
At the start of each shift, the worker approaches the terminal. The camera captures their face and compares the live embedding against their enrolled identity. The comparison happens on-device.
Result recorded with timestamp
The verification result (pass or fail) is recorded with the worker's name, agency, site, terminal and timestamp. The record is immediately visible in the dashboard and included in the audit log.
Sign-out verification
Sign-out follows the same verification flow. Timestamped sign-in and sign-out records together create a complete, identity-verified shift attendance record for each agency worker.

CheckSync stores mathematical embeddings derived from facial geometry, not face photographs. The embedding cannot be reverse-rendered into an image. Biometric data is special category data under GDPR Article 9 and is handled accordingly.
