Emergency preparedness for operational sites
At your muster point, do you know if everyone is out?
Most sites rely on clipboards, paper lists or memory during an evacuation. CheckSync gives you a live, accurate count of everyone currently on site, triggerable in seconds from any device, with no app download required for your emergency responders.
Pilot on one site. Real hardware. No commitment until it works.
The problem with emergency roll call on operational sites
Your current process has gaps you might not know about.
Paper lists go out of date the moment they are printed
A sign-in sheet from the start of shift does not reflect who arrived late, left early or was never recorded properly. At the muster point, you are counting from stale data.
Agency workers and contractors fall through the gap
Your own staff are on your system. Agency workers and contractors often are not. In an evacuation, the people hardest to account for are exactly the ones most likely to be missed.
Responders need information they cannot access quickly
First aid officers and fire marshals need a headcount fast. If the information is locked in a system they cannot log into from a phone at a muster point, it is not useful in the moment.
A failed roll call has serious consequences
If someone is unaccounted for and the fire service sends a team back in, liability sits with you. An accurate, documented roll call is your protection as much as it is a legal obligation.
How CheckSync roll call works
Triggered in seconds. Managed from any device.
01
Alarm sounds, roll call triggered
Any authorised dashboard user triggers the roll call in one tap. Alternatively, a PIN on the terminal triggers it without needing dashboard access.
02
Responders notified by email instantly
Your designated emergency groups (first aid, fire marshal, management) each receive an email with a one-tap acknowledgement link. No app, no login, no delay.
03
Live count updated in real time
The dashboard shows a live count: safe, missing and unaccounted. Any authorised user can mark people safe from a phone at the muster point.
04
Full record retained automatically
Every roll call is logged with timestamps, status changes and a full export. Available for your incident report, insurance claim or HSE review.
What you get
Confidence at the muster point.
Live headcount from any device
No app to install. Responders open the link in their email and mark people safe from their phone. Works on any browser, any device.
Covers every person type on site
Visitors, contractors, agency workers, guests and staff all appear on the roll call if they are currently signed in. Nobody falls through the gap.
Emergency group notifications
Configure separate groups for first aid officers, fire marshals and site management. Each group gets their own notification and acknowledgement link.
Timestamped record for every roll call
Full export of every roll call event: who was on site, when the roll call was triggered, who was marked safe and when. Ready for your incident report.
How the pilot works
We scope your site: entrances, person types, emergency responder groups.
We provision the terminal and configure your emergency groups.
You run a live drill within the first week. We support you directly throughout.
If it works, we talk rollout. If not, no obligation.
Common questions
Questions about emergency roll call.
What if we have no internet during the emergency?
The roll call is triggered from the dashboard, which requires connectivity. However, the list of people currently signed in is based on records already in the system, so even on a slow connection the data is available. We recommend sites in areas with unreliable fixed-line connectivity use a 4G SIM in their terminal as a backup.
Do our fire marshals need to download an app?
No. Responders receive an email with a single link. They open it in any browser on any device and can mark people safe immediately. No account, no app, no login required.
Can we test the roll call without triggering a real alarm?
Yes. You can trigger a roll call from the dashboard at any time, including for drills. The system logs it as a drill if you choose, and the full record is retained for your H&S documentation.
What about people who signed out before the alarm?
Only people currently signed in appear on the roll call. If someone signed out before the alarm, they are not on the list. This is by design: the roll call reflects who is physically on site, not who was on site earlier.
We already have a fire alarm system. Does CheckSync connect to it?
CheckSync can be configured to trigger a roll call automatically when your fire alarm panel activates, removing the need for a manual trigger during an incident. This is covered during your pilot scoping conversation.
Start with one site
Account for everyone. Every time.
Every CheckSync deployment starts with a structured pilot on a single site. Real hardware, real workers, a real roll call drill in the first week. No commitment to rollout until you are confident it works for your site.
Direct support from the team that built it. Included from day one.
